What is BAPI and how does it Work?

BAPI is an acronym for the Bookt API -- a set of Search & Booking Widget functionality written in jQuery and JavaScript (similar to Facebook and Google embeddable widgets) with an optional WordPress plug-in.
BAPI allows you to implement a lightning fast and easy to use Vacation Rental property search and booking engine on any site with minimum effort.
BAPI gets its data from your InstaManager solution and respects all configured settings and rules unless overridden.
BAPI generates search forms, fluid search results (including map search) and all dynamic information such as price quotes automatically.
BAPI includes a secure booking engine that can process credit card transactions based on rules set up in the InstaManager Control Panel.

BAPI communicates with an InstaManager solution through a secure REST based API.
Data is returned as JSON arrays, that are consumed by client side JavaScript libraries and renders dynamic content.
